Scheduled Training Courses for September and November 2008

The following courses will be held at the Monkhouse Granary, near Shrewsbury, Shropshire - located on the Ellesmere Road just north of the Shrewsbury Battlefield Enterprise Park (joining instructions and travel directions will be issued prior to the course). Please contact us for specific dates if none are shown. Prior booking is essential.

Cost per delegate for one-day courses £145 + VAT (Public Speaking Workshop £125 + VAT). Two-day courses £285 + VAT

Includes refreshments morning and afternoon, and a buffet lunch. Maximum of 6 delegates on each course (8 delegates on the Public Speaking Workshops). Each delegate will receive a printed course manual and individual use of a computer during training - PCs not used in Public Speaking workshops. These courses are designed for people who want to learn important skills in a friendly, relaxed, but informed environment. Full outlines are available on request. Public Speaking Workshop (1-day)

Microsoft Excel - Advanced User (1-day)

Tuesday 23 September 2008 - Looks at features for experienced users. Covering worksheet revision, data validation, formula auditing, scenarios and what-if analysis. Suitable for Office 2003 and earlier. Ask about our Office 2007 courses.

Microsoft Access - Beyond the Basics (1-day)

Wednesday 24 September 2008 - For creators of Access databases. Covering relationships, indexes, multi-table forms, calculated fields, action queries & multi-table reports. Suitable for Office 2003 and earlier. Ask about our Office 2007 courses.

Microsoft Excel - Beyond the Basics (1-day)

Thursday 25 September 2008 - Taking Excel beyond the basics that many self-taught users know. Includes updating charts, functions, formatting, print & referencing. Suitable for Office 2003 and earlier. Ask about our Office 2007 courses.

Microsoft Access - A Running Start (2-days)

Monday 3 and Tuesday 4 November 2008 - For beginners who want to create mission-critical Access databases. Make sure your database will be soundly built. Learn to design user forms, queries and reports. See how to mail merge information to MS Word. Suitable for Office 2003 and earlier. Ask about our Office 2007 courses.

Microsoft Excel - An Introduction (1-day)

Thursday 6 November 2008 - For first-time users of Microsoft Excel. Introducing entering and editing cells, simple statistical functions, and creating charts. Suitable for Office 2003 and earlier. Ask about our Office 2007 courses.

Microsoft PowerPoint - An Introduction (1-day)

Friday 7 November 2008 - See how to create slide shows for speaker-led presentations. Learn how to add animations and slide transitions and how to control the presentation. Suitable for Office 2003 and earlier. Ask about our Office 2007 courses.

Microsoft PowerPoint - Advanced User (1-day)

Monday 24 November 2008 - Learn how to create sophisticated presentations for speaker-led and user-led presentations, and also standalone exhibitions.
